Abstract: Creating learning and teaching collaborations across Charles Sturt can be tricky to initiate but rewarding for all. In the recent 202260 teaching session, project briefs from Charles Sturt Sustainability were embedded into COM236-Event Management: engaging students as event partners and co-creators. This cooperative effort facilitated innovative learning experiences, increased awareness around sustainability whilst strengthening Charles Sturt community networks. Project 1 – Clothes Swap (Bathurst campus) Project 2 – Green Talks (Zoom event). Through reflection on recent practice, this Quick Talk presents key impressions and prompts discussion around: • Assessment design; responding to subject LO’s and the Charles Sturt Sustainability GLO • Input from Divisional/Professional staff to complement learning and teaching environments • Charles Sturt student and community engagement At Charles Sturt we strive to “create a world worth living in”, together, we can strategize how to: enhance learning and teaching opportunities, further engage students, contribute to positive community culture and a sustainable future for all.
